WHO IS KAMODJIA?
Kamodjia Williams is an ambitious and motivated screenwriter who often jokes: “he picked up a pencil before he learned how to walk.”
Being a Mid-Western native and graduating from Kent State University with a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences, Kamodjia took it upon himself to pursue his lifelong dream: writing. Since he was a child, Kamodjia made it his objective to use his upbringing and life experiences to create relatable and engaging stories that appealed to readers and audiences. His current goals are: FINDING REPRESENTATION AND CONTRIBUTING TO A WRITER’S ROOM AS A STAFF WRITER OR WRITER'S ASSISTANT.

Some of his most recent achievements: releasing a short film (‘Black Boys Don’t Cry’) and having it included in the 48th Oscar Qualifying Cleveland International Film Festival, placing as a Semi-Finalist (Disney Writing Program), Quarterfinalist (Black Boys Write, Los Angeles International Screenplay Awards) and judging for the 2024 and 2025 Austin Film Festival.
